Sex in Ireland has always seemed to be something you shouldn’t talk about. The stereotypical image of Roman Catholics issuing threats against those who would fornicate for anything other than pro-creation is long since passed. Whilst the religious communities are still large and powerful, Ireland’s general attitude to sex has changed radically in the past decade. Casual sex is no longer seen as ‘anathema’ and the younger generation is helping to do away with outdated religious opinions on the matter. So what is the situation today?
